This is by far our most relaxed trip. If you need serious de-stressing then this is the trip for you. It has a bit of history, shopping opportunities, friendly locals and great food as usual, but most of all it has some sensational off the tourist trail beaches. One being on a little known island off the west coast and the other being an even lesser known coastal beach on the East coast.

VISITING:
BANGKOK - THE RIVER KWAI - KOH SUKORN - TRANG - HAD YAI - SECLUDED BEACH IN PRACHUAP KIRI KHAN PROVINCE.
ACCOMMODATION:
Three star hotels, (4 nights).
One to two star guest houses and hotels, (8 nights).
Overnight sleeper train, (1 night).
TRANSPORT:

ITINERARY:
DAY 1: BANGKOK - Your trip officially starts as soon as you check in to your Bangkok accommodation. A welcoming dinner will be had in the evening. D.
DAY 2: BANGKOK - A local operator will take you on a full days tour to the River Kwai with other attractions en route. B. L. D.
DAY 3: OVERNIGHT SLEEPER TRAIN - A free morning in Bangkok before a mid afternoon transfer to the railway station for the overnight train to the southern province of Trang. B. L.
DAY 4: KOH SUKORN; DESTRESSING TIME - Arrive a.m. in Trang in time for breakfast before transferring to the refreshingly new (as far as Thai resorts go) island of Koh Sukorn. This is the stereotype tropical island with no development apart from two sets of bungalows. Your bungalows are set amongst a coconut plantation right on or close to the beach. The most you will be forced to do is watch the sunset or have a drink or two in the beachside restaurant, or maybe even do both at once. B.
DAY 5, 6 and 7: KOH SUKORN - Relax or explore this pristine island which also has a small local village and some rubber plantations. B, daily.
DAY 8: TRANG - A morning transfer sees us back in the provincial capital of Trang. The rest of the day is free before visiting the large street vendors night market to sample some of Trang’s famous Chinese noodles, followed by some delicious Thai sweets... this is a REAL Thai market. B. D.
DAY 9: HAD YAI - A short morning bus trip sees us in Had Yai, (or alternative province depending on current situation), the commercial capital of Southern Thailand, where you can shop at the many street vendors and shops for the rest of the day. B.
Day 10: SECLUDED BEACH - An early start from Had Yai, (or alterate overnight stop), will see you heading for your secluded beach in Prachuap Kiri Khan province for 3 nights at a coastal beach nicely off the regular tourist trail. B. D.
Day 11: SECLUDED BEACH - DESTRESSING TIME: A free day at the beach is on the cards today. B.
Day 12: SECLUDED BEACH - Same as day 11 unless you'd like to head into the nearby provincial capital for a change of scenery. B. D.
Day 13 : BANGKOK - A morning bus trip will see you return to Bangkok for a final night. A farewell dinner will be had in the evening. B. D.
Day 14: Your trip officially ends when you check out of your Bangkok accommodation. An airport transfer is included also. B.
