This Meander in Malaysia takes in Penang, K.L., Lumut and the lesser known but no less beautiful, island of Pangkor. You will also get a glmpse of Bangkok along the way.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: BANGKOK - Your trip officially starts after checking into your Bangkok accommodation. A welcoming dinner will be had in the evening. D.

DAY 2: OVERNIGHT SLEEPER TRAIN - A free morning before catching the always enjoyable overnight sleeper train to Butterworth in Malaysia. B.

DAY 3: PENANG ISLAND - Arrive in Butterworth around midday and take the short ferry trip across to Georgetown, the big bustling capital of Penang. No meals.

DAY 4: PENANG ISLAND - A Penang Island tour is included today. Rest of the day is free to eat. B.

DAY 5: PENANG ISLAND - A free day to explore some more of the island and more FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! China town, Little India or the modern Komtar shopping mall will keep you busy today. No meals.

DAY 6: PANGKOR ISLAND - By bus and then boat will see you on the lesser known but no less attractive island of Pangkor for a three night stay. No meals.

DAY 7: PANGKOR ISLAND - Relax on the beach or go for a meander on this small but beautiful island. B.

DAY 8: Repeat day seven. B.

DAY 9: LUMUT - A short boat ride will see you in the seaside town of Lumut for the night with enough time to explore the interesting local culture of this little town. No meals.

DAY 10: By bus today to the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur: Better known as simply K.L. B.

DAY 11: KUALA LUMPUR - A K.L. city tour is included today. Rest of the day is free. B.

DAY 12: KUALA LUMPUR - Now that you have the feel of this fascinating, multicultural city you have a full day to explore, shop and eat. With the new, cheap and extensive light rail and monorail things are now a breeze to get around to see the twin towers, central market, China town, Batu caves or any number of other attractions. No meals.

DAY 13: BANGKOK - A short flight will see you return to the big mango for a final night with the rest of the day free. A farewell dinner will be had in the evening. B. D.

DAY 14: Your trip is officially over when you check out of your Bangkok accommodation. An airport transfer is included also. B.
